There's a New SWAG in Town

He's nearly an A-list player and she's at least a C-cup. But I'm not knocking up-and-coming NFL receiver Hank Baskett and his fianceé Kendra Wilkinson, one of Hugh Hefner's blonde ex-girlfriends.

Far from it, because now that they have gotten engaged, isn't it time to crown them the NFL's next Supercouple? Wilkinson starred in the Playboy-mansion-based reality show, “The Girls Next Door,” and Baskett has become the Philadelphia Eagles' best player.

And, really, aren't Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen a little too lower Manhattan for the rest of America to really embrace? Brady is the sports superstar that we really know little about and Gisele is, well, so unapproachably supermodel-hot, she's practically from another planet. As cool as they seem to be, is there any other couple in the world who can relate to their impossibly perfect lives?

Yep, me neither.

Kendra, on the other hand, is that ditzy prom queen we all knew (and who was secretly loved by the guys and openly loathed by the girls) in high school.

So, just as we raise a glass for a new president in America, we also welcome a more accessible SWAG like Ms. Wilkinson; she and Mr. Baskett are bringing us frustrated SWAG-watchers exactly the kind of change we can believe in.
